who’s behind the camera?
Hi, I’m sam!
I’m Sam, the girl behind the camera! During middle school, I was the friend that was always carrying around a camera. I've always taken a liking to capturing moments. Something about preserving a memory and making real life look like dream, lights a fire in me. My cousins and I would always do our own makeshift photo shoots together, but it wasn't until my senior year of high school that I learned how the heck to actually use my camera. Since then, I have continued to learn and grow as a photographer. A few things I love are rain and the forest- give me those and I’m a happy girl. I love a good sunset and even more- I LOVE a good sunset with a spectacular view! I can be the most annoying person in the car because I am constantly looking out the window and pointing out all the pretty things I see. And even though it may be the 7th old barn we’ve passed I can’t help but to point it out for everyone else to see! I guess I'm always inspired by the world around me and constantly thinking about the endless photo possibilities!
My favorite part about this job is making people feel beautiful and giving them the ability to relive their memories. I am obsessed with making capturing love and emotion. All I want to do is convey your real, natural and candid love through my lens! I have a very natural and relaxed style which allows you two as a couple to show your own personalities. I’m all about constant giggles, secret whispers and snuggles paired with a little adventure. I’m not huge into stiff posing because to me it’s not candid, real and it doesn’t allow your personalities and love for each other to be the focus. Don’t worry though, of course I’ll be there to guide you through your session and I’m here to make you feel comfortable and look great! I’ll have you dancing around, ‘drunk’ walking everywhere and (hopefully) always laughing.
